Marks & Spencer Australian Online Store Launch

It was brilliant working with you and I hope we get the chance to work together again at some point down the track! My Manager has been raving about it to anyone that will listen since he got back, so it was obviously a hit! The ambience on the night that was created by all of the little touches, like the music, the champagne, the hosts and the waiters were just so special.

I am incredibly happy with how things turned out.

Event Brief

To showcase the delightful offerings of Marks & Spencer to a select group of Australian consumers, social media blogger and style influencers.

The Result

Guests were invited to the House of Marks & Spencer to interact with a range of fashion, homewares and lifestyle products to generate awareness about the items available for purchase via the recently launched online store and to amplify the brand on social media.

Event Planet selected an elegant, British-style home in Sydney’s exclusive Eastern Suburbs to be the setting for the House of Marks & Spencer.

The beautiful house and garden were transformed into an all-encompassing Marks & Spencer brand experience. On arrival, guests were greeted by a Marks & Spencer host dressed in traditional coat and tails, standing next to a custom designed plaque at the residence gate. Once they entered via the sandstone stepping stones, they were welcomed with a glass of Moet et Chandon champagne and immersed in the stunning surrounds branded with an oversized M&S logo positioned at the bay windows of the house facade.

A sumptuous canape menu was complemented with magnums of Moët et Chandon. A glass of a glass of Moët et Chandon Rose was exclusively served to those guests who ventured upstairs to explore the product displays in the adult and children bedrooms

Brand Ambassadors, Bec Judd, Kate Waterhouse and Nadia Fairfax hosted the occasion and mingled with guests while encouraging them to explore the entire House of Marks & Spencer, which was filled with products displayed in intriguing “insta-worthy” theatrical settings. The Brand Ambassadors’ favourite selections were identifiable with custom-printed swing tags so the guests could see who like what the most!

An artisan hand engraver was situated in the Living Room to inscribe messages and mementos of the guests’ best memories of London on beautiful M&S teapot gifts. .
