We have had wonderful feedback from my General Manager and heads of departments, as well as international recognition from L’OCCITANE around the world. We love our new flagship and are very excited to share this ‘tuk tuk’ as part of the grand opening.
To create a stand out activation to celebrate the opening of the L’Occitane Flagship store in the heritage Block Arcade on Collins Street. The installation needed to reflect the brand, create hype and social media content, and ultimately attract passers-by to walk in store to do some Christmas shopping.
Event Planet executed a whimsical installation for L’Occitane and ensured that all necessary permits were obtained (by working closely with the Block Arcade management) allowing the installation to be placed just outside the store, right at the entrance to the arcade.
Event Planet sourced a mini transport vehicle similar to a ‘tuk tuk’, redesigned it for L’Occitane in their yellow brand colour and completed it with their corporate logo on all panels.
‘Spring in Provence’ was channeled with abundant florals cascading from the vehicle windows, the roof and filling the ‘boot’ at the rear.
During the weekend long activation, L’Occitane staff engaged with shoppers, handing out sample bags and assisting with photographs in front of the installation.
The new store was buzzing!
