I must acknowledge that without your help, advice and support it would have been impossible for us to deliver such a successful conference. I believe we have achieved every bit we expected to achieve. Now the challenge is to capitalise on the outcomes to influence our policy work.
To design and execute the second event in the Infrastructure Australia Conference Series – Connecting the Dots – Shaping the Future of Infrastructure in Remote Indigenous Communities. To manage an interactive and engaging three day conference program, host delegates from around Australia including community, government and other national stakeholders and speakers from around the world. To host the event in a content relevant and flight accessible regional location.
Event Planet produced three extremely successful conference days in remote locations around Australia, which brought together policy and planning leaders from the Australian indigenous community, business and the Federal Government. The key learnings and outcomes were significant and were then applied to an additional six conferences that Event Planet subsequently produced for Infrastructure Australia in capital cities around the country to continue to develop and improve the future of infrastructure in remote indigenous communities throughout Australia.
Infrastructure Australia has engaged Event Planet to organise and manage a number of diverse conferences, ranging from a one day event in the Sydney CBD to a two day conference in Alice Springs. In delivering these, Event Planet acquitted itself with excellent organisational and relationship management skills in what were sometimes demanding timelines and circumstances.
