Owner and Managing Director, Amy Merriman, has spent over 15 years working at the pinnacle of creative communications in Australia and abroad, and provides clients with a wealth of high-level strategy and delivery experience gained managing and producing major corporate and Government events and complex, multi-stakeholder communications projects across multiple industries.

Amy is passionate about new ideas, creative solutions and the “bring to life” process, as well as maintaining a strong focus on commercialising client vision.

Laura specialises in combining the big picture vision with the fine detail delivery. She is an award-winning and industry renowned Event Producer. Her ability to grasp a complex client brief, transform it into a creative concept and then place it into a structured delivery plan and timeline is exceptional.

Laura oversees all event design and construction processes in the business and offers balanced, professional guidance to the event operations and production team. Laura’s outstanding event management skills were recognised when she was awarded Australian Young Achiever of the Year at the 2012 Australian Event Awards.

Monique has a natural flair for event management and actively supports our team on the production of major projects, while also independently managing her own impressive client portfolio. Her ability to provide creative input on design, logistical skills for venues and supplier negotiations and much more, ensures a high quality of service is delivered at all times.

Monique is a talented initiator, which brings great benefits to both our client events and our team operations.

Monique’s accolades include being awarded Australian Young Achiever of the Year at the 2015 Australian Event Awards.

Mikaila joined the team on a full time basis after simultaneously completing her Internship with the company and a Bachelor of Management in Events and Leisure at University of Technology in Sydney. Mikaila is energetic, enthusiastic and committed to establishing her career in the event industry. She is a dedicated worker who takes pride in her communication, time management and organisational skills. 

Mikaila applies a positive, can-do attitude to all of her tasks, enjoys working with new people and has a passion for helping clients turn their ideas into memorable events.

Lily undertook an Event Planet internship in 2016 and has now joined the team on a permanent basis. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Communications in Public Communication at University of Technology, Sydney.

Lily is extremely hard working and prides herself on her positive attitude and organisational skills. She thoroughly enjoys the events industry, which is demonstrated by her friendly attitude with clients and suppliers and her willingness to learn about all aspects of Event Planet’s business.

Elizabeth brings extensive public relations and marketing expertise to the business. In addition, she provides clients with a wealth of agency experience gained working in Sydney, London and New York, along with a bounty of international and national contacts to assist the design and delivery of client projects.

Elizabeth specialises in the development, implementation and integration of systems to streamline internal and B2B communications and ensures the best quality delivery for our client services.

jane jones

Jane has been Event Planet’s Finance Manager for over 15 years. She is also responsible for other Jupiter Management Group brands including Jupiter Agency.

Jane gained extensive hospitality and entertainment industry experience after graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics. She has previously worked with Accor, the worldwide hotel group and EntArt, an entertainment industry specialist accounting firm that managed notable show business clients such as The Wiggles, Diesel and Mental As Anything.
