Tourism Philippines Roadshow Dinners

“The challenge surpassed! Short lead time to stage three large tourism dinner events with a difference in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Event Planet never blinked and pro-actively delivered a new benchmark experience to the industry; an industry with high expectations! Great job and thanks Event Planet.”

Event Brief

To create a beautiful and exclusive dinner for invited guests to learn about the Philippines and what is can offer for client travel experiences. This event was all about having fun and learning in a comfortable environment.

Three rooftop venues were chosen for these events, each showcasing the iconic attributes of each city: the Roof Terrace at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art, The Harbourside Rooftop at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art and South Melbourne’s Luminare. Each venue complemented the others and created a luxurious setting for a very special group of travel agents.

As guests arrived, they were digitally registered and welcomed by staff carrying specially imported San Miguel Pale Pilsner and bespoke Filipino cocktails. The tribal beats of the Philippines drifted through the warm air as canapés were circulated and guests mingled.

MC James Tobin kicked off the night and continued to charm guests with anecdotes of his own travels and experiences of the Philippines, while Paul McCrory informed guests as to how they can use Facebook to promote their businesses to the world. Between courses, the attractions of the Philippines and the Fun Travel Expert Program was launched and explained to guests.

The event closed with the announcement of multiple lucky winners of luxurious trips to explore the islands of the Philippines.

The feedback from guests on all event nights, was that they appreciated the attention to detail, the feeling of being spoilt and often commented that the events were the most beautiful corporate educational dinner they had ever attended.
