Event Brief

As part of the 2016 Spring Carnival racing calendar and the annual Moët Spring Champion Stakes Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Event Planet was once again engaged to design and execute the exclusive VIP hospitality event. In its fourth year, the event was hosted in the Moët Champagne Lounge within The Stables, where 100 glamourous guests including VIP’s, celebrities and social influencer’s rubbed shoulders and sipped champagne whilst enjoying the racing atmosphere.

Whilst the Moët Suite already showcased a Moët design aesthetic, Event Planet further enhanced this with design details such as spectacular floral displays, gold trophies and gold coated horseshoes. A talking point of the space and highly popular, was the bespoke media wall featuring a custom artwork by fashion artist Aaron Favaloro, with guests taking the opportunity to be snapped on the wall.

The feature of the day was the “Moët Moment” which featured Moët ambassador Erin Holland enchanting guests with her voice and an acoustic version of Jubel’s Klingande which finished with her ascending a golden ladder to free pour champagne into the crystal coupe tower – the perfect way to toast Moët’s feature race of the day!

Creative input and delivery, supplier and venue management, POS management, progress updates, technical management, budget management and reconciliation, running schedules, OH&S checklists and risk assessment, entertainment, custom design, event staff management and complete onsite management of bump in and bump out logistics.

 

The Result

The Moët Spring Champion Stakes Day hospitality event was highly successful immersing guests in a Moët experience with luxury and excellence at all touches points. The event reinforced the Moët brand alliance with prestige sports such as racing whilst retaining the brand DNA within its global platform of glamour and success.
