DHL has worked with Event Planet on a number of large scale events in the past 18 months. The success of these, coupled with a team that is efficient, relaxed and fun to work with has ensured that we continue to commission their services. Whether it be an internal staff conference running over a number of days, or a Gala Dinner event hosting 200 customers and staff, or a media launch, Event Planet has ensured the smooth flow of events. Taking care of everything from creative design (e.g. transforming a 5,900 square metre purpose-built warehouse into a dining room!), arranging invitations and RSVP registrations, accommodation, valet parking, flight schedules, transfers, entertainment, catering… whatever the event may entail. No stone is left unturned.
To design and deliver the official opening of the Sydney Gateway Facility from concept to implementation. The key objective was to create a high-profile, exclusive gala dinner event.
Event Planet transformed the aircraft hangar space into an elegant and sophisticated dinner party for 300 guests and media. Three long tables seating up to 100 guests, created an intimate and decadent setting. Throughout the evening large scale projections encompassed the vast space. Guests were entertained by MC Neil Evans, Jeff McMullen, the Random Quartet and later in the evening Kate Ceberano exploded onto stage.
The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended and contributed considerably to raising the profile of DHL, as well as increasing awareness of their new facility.
