To produce and activate The Crown Autumn Ladies Luncheon, one of Australia’s most exclusive and luxurious events. Traditionally Crown Melbourne hosts this annual event prior to Oaks Day during the VRC Spring Carnival. Now, for the second year running, Sydney has shined prior to Oaks Day for the ATC Autumn Carnival.
The Crown Ladies Luncheons are renowned for their star-studded guest lists and generous goody bags! Guests at this year’s Autumn Ladies Lunch included 250 of Australia’s leading figures in media, racing, entertainment, business and fashion.
The event was hosted at the historic On Seven at David Jones, Elizabeth Street to celebrate the launch of Sydney’s Autumn Racing Carnival. The luncheon was hosted by three generations of Packer women including Roslyn, Gretel and Francesca Packer.
Anthony Callea and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra entertained guests before enjoying a David Jones Fashion Parade, headlined with the stunning Jessica Gomes. Guests were inspired by the fashion showcase of Autumn racing attire designed by Australian and international talent for both men and women.
Crown Resorts’ culinary directors, Neil Perry and Guillaume Brahimi designed a sumptuous menu, which was cooked from an entertaining live kitchen within view from the dining area. Why hide such incredible chefs in the kitchen when you can experience them preparing your food live?!
All funds raised on the day were donated to the White Ribbon Foundation, which supports victims of domestic violence. The foundation ambassador, Rachael Taylor, was a guest of honour and shared her personal story with Helen Macabe from Womens Weekly, who were a sponsor at the event.
