Thank you for all your hard, tireless and amazing work over the last 6 weeks and in particular, these past 3 days. It was an absolute pleasure working with you and there was never anything too big or small that you could not handle. Even when I would ask you to change something just after you had set it all up you would smile and nod and not ask any questions. The feedback from all the guests and Halcyon House staff has been overwhelmingly positive with a big call out to you for being so easy to work with.
To design and produce a 3-day event program for Veuve Clicquot at Halcyon House. This consisted of a number of events, exclusively for Veuve Clicquot’s VIP guests which included media personalities, celebrities and social media influencers. Event Planet transformed Halcyon House into a Clicquot haven, complete with poolside styling.
Guests were greeted at Coolangatta Airport and transferred to Halcyon House in luxury, custom-branded BMW vehicles. The iconic besser block entry was dressed with 3-dimensional lettering and proudly introduced the ‘Clicquot Beach House’ which welcomed guests on arrival. The check-in experience was complete with a ‘flute’ on arrival followed by a sumptuous lunch in the renowned restaurant Paper Daisy.
Night One saw guests introduced to the new Clicquot product, RICH, with a lush display of fresh fruits, herbs, flowers and greenery and pops of branding with the stunning silver bottles. Scattered cocktail tables were set as stations for guests to sample the many ingredients designed to partner with the champagne including pineapple, capsicum and celery, as well as chili, herbs and grapefruit!
Following drinks, guests were ushered poolside to the Moroccan inspired setting for ‘Dinner Under the Stars’. Guests were seated on cushions and rugs and sipped Veuve Clicquot to the sounds of the acoustic guitarist playing in the background by the glow of the illuminated pool installations and strands of festoon. For the guests who wanted to extend the evening, ‘Midnight in Paris’ was projected at the exclusive ‘Clicquot Moonlight Cinema’ in the garden.
On Day Two, guests descended to the beach with Clicquot branded yoga mats in hand for Yoga on the Beach. This was led by Kate Kendall, co-founder and director of Flow Athletic, and was a positive start for the day! Following a calm morning, guests were invited to participate in surfing lessons or take the bespoke Clicquot bicycles for a spin.
The afternoon involved a leisurely lunch and second serving of Clicquot RICH followed by a session of ‘Badminton and Bubbles’ set up on the venue lawn. Guests were gifted with white branded polo shirts and Clicquot yellow sweatbands. Clicquot yellow racquets had the Clicquot yellow shuttlecocks flying through the air while guests relaxed in the sunshine.
To finish the final evening, guests were treated to a sumptuous candlelit Degustation in the Dark. Guests were served Veuve Clicquot including Vintage Rosé, La Grande Dame and Yellow Label, all of which were paired to the meal prepared by Ben Devlin. To top off the night, a surprise DJ set by internationally renowned duo Flight Facilities, resulted in guests dancing the night away.
