To create a sophisticated and glamorous signature Summer event in a surprise inner city Melbourne location and to engage existing and potential Brown Brothers customers in a memorable way that will foster positive and lasting relationships with the iconic Australian brand.
Event Planet produced the spectacular “Summer of Prosecco” Pop-Up Beach Bar in the middle of bustling Richmond for a 4-day only brand campaign.
Utilising a stunning Riviera navy and white colour scheme to assimilate with the natural beach elements of sand and sun, the event stood out in the usually dark and graffiti-covered industrial location. The floor was covered in over three tons of sand and a feature DJ desk was built as a sandcastle by artists flown in from Queensland. On arrival, guests were invited to go barefoot by removing their shoes at a special check-in.
The main bar was furnished with bright white wooden beach tables and matching bench seats. Eclectic and colourful chairs were combined with cocktail tables to dot the area. Rustic timber boxes were decorated with hurricane lamps and succulent plants.
Event Planet also built private cabanas furnished with Portsea-style lounges and cane furniture, which were encased with sexy, sheer curtains. Luscious green palm trees seamlessly blended the indoor and outdoor environment. Beach towels and branded Brown Brothers thongs were placed throughout the space to complete the ultimate summer experience and complement the navy and white striped beach umbrellas.
Guests enjoyed the popular Brown Brothers Prosecco and snacked from plates which were filled with Prosecco drunken prawn skewers, coconut chicken with peanut and Prosecco emulsion and Prosecco battered fish and chip cones and more.
The photo booth was a highlight, where guests walked away with one or more printed mementos of their barefooted, urban beach fun at the Brown Brothers Summer of Prosecco Pop Up Bar.
Supporting the Brown Brothers Instagram competition, Event Planet organised a live feed of the hash tags #summerofprosecco and #proseccotime, encouraging guests to get snapping. The outcome was incredible, with photos and comments streaming in from guests for weeks after the event.
Gorgeous Prosecco inspired menu items including Prosecco Drunken Prawns and Prosecco Battered Fish and Chips were available for guests to snack on as they sipped wine from their custom white Brown Brothers glasses. A memorable pop-up bar was created that received praise from locals, passersbys and guests.
